Stouenborg played a pivotal role in the development of Naturkraft’s new full-dome exhibition in Ringkøbing, taking responsibility for advising and integrating the entire AV system. The project, which opened in the summer of 2024, offers a captivating 360° experience about the history of wind power. Through advanced projection on a 78 m² dome surface, visitors are taken on a visual journey from medieval windmills to modern wind farms in Ringkøbing Fjord.
Stouenborg’s technical solution ensures perfect synchronization between sound, lighting, and projection, creating an immersive atmosphere. At the center of the dome, a showcase divided into six sections has been carefully illuminated to draw attention and support the exhibition’s narrative. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, Stouenborg designed an energy-efficient system and reused materials, reducing both energy and resource consumption.
The project’s major challenges, including budget constraints and the physical design of the dome, were overcome through creative projector selections and meticulous pre-production work. The result is a visually stunning and reliable exhibition that provides visitors with a unique perspective on the importance of wind power throughout history.
